Dr. Taskin Padir holds concurrent appointments as an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University and as an Amazon Scholar. He is the Founding Director of the Institute for Experiential Robotics at Northeastern University, and the Director of Robotics and Intelligent Vehicles Research Laboratory (RIVeR Lab). His research is in embodied artificial intelligence, shared autonomy, and human-robot teaming. He serves as an Editor for ICRA, the flagship conference of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society.
