One night back in 2007 when Jessica and Dustin were watching Jeopardy, Alex Trebek brought up a category about Helping Hands: Monkey Helpers! He asked intriguing questions about what our little capuchins can do to help people with paralysis and showed charming videos of the monkeys in action. “We were captivated,” said Jessica. “We thought, we need to look into this innovative approach!”

When Jessica and Dustin set up their charitable giving in 2010, they selected Helping Hands to give on a monthly basis through our Capuchin Caretakers program. “We wanted to support Helping Hands because you provide a direct service to people living with disabilities,” said Jessica. “Research is important, but you have an immediate impact on people’s lives. We also felt it was crucial to provide a steady stream of donations that Helping Hands can count on.”
