Homes for Monkeys Needing Special Care

When Helping Hands monkeys are ready to retire from service, we place them in loving, supportive homes where they receive special care after a lifetime of giving it, along with close medical supervision. And because we maintain ownership of our monkeys throughout their lives, we continue to oversee their care and medical needs as long as they live.

We are only able to accept applications for new Special Care Homes in the following states:

  • Alabama
  • Arkansas
  • Indiana
  • Maine
  • Massachusetts
  • Michigan
  • Mississippi
  • Ohio
  • Nebraska
  • South Carolina
  • Tennessee

If you are a full-time resident of one of these states, if you are not employed full-time outside of your home, do not have children under the age of 12 living in your home, and are interested in learning more about becoming a Special Care Home for Helping Hands, please email Anne Lawrence.

Thank you.
