Chelsea Lundblad

Monkey Handler

Having grown up on a hobby farm, Chelsea developed an early passion for the animal world as she spent every day among a wide variety of animals. She graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in film and television, but quickly realized working with animals was her true calling. She spent years volunteering and traveling in order to expand her animal experiences, volunteering at such places as the MSPCA, the New England Aquarium, Franklin Park Zoo, and Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Center, in addition to taking an intensive nature course in the Greater Kruger (South Africa).

Chelsea stumbled upon Helping Hands in 2012 and knew immediately she wanted to be a part of the organization. Fridays quickly became her favorite day of the week when she’d come in to volunteer. Nine wonderful years later, she’s excited to join the team full time! When not enjoying her time with the monkeys, Chelsea loves traveling, photography, hiking, and relaxing with her cat.
