Erin Seiden

Board Member

Ms. Seiden is a Senior Program Manager at The MathWorks, a software leader whose mission is discovery, innovation, and learning in engineering and science. She has previously held roles in quality engineering and project management at the hardware/software/security firm Dell/EMC/RSA. She brings 17 years of experience in leadership, collaboration, and process improvement to our team.

Ms. Seiden has volunteered at Helping Hands for several years after learning about the program through a friend attending a David Sedaris reading. She completed her Master’s Degree Capstone project at Helping Hands: Monkey Helpers leading the staff through process improvement and data analysis for recipient applications and marketing. She chairs the Friends Committee for the annual Festivale fundraiser, enabling other volunteers to contribute to an amazing event.

Ms. Seiden is an avid gamer covering weekly new releases and conventions for a video gaming website 2old2play. She hosts a New England Pinball League location in her home Arrrrrcade. She also loves reading, live music, terrible puns, craft beer, and spending time with friends and family.

Ms. Seiden holds a BS in Computer Science from UMass Dartmouth and an MS in Project and Program Management from Brandeis University.
